Summer Family Session

I first photographed Lindsey and Josh's wedding back in 2016. Since then I have photographed their son's newborn photos, 6 month, 1 year and 2 year milestones. Lindsey & Josh invested my Baby's First Year Collection which included the first three sessions and a birthday session every year up to age 5. They always upgrade from a child only session to a family session so they can get their family photos updated each year as well. I look forward to our session each year as they have grown to be more than clients to me, but very dear friends.

Callen was born in June so we were able to choose a gorgeous outdoor setting for his session. For a two year old this is ideal as littles this age just want to move and run. I make sure to get some posed shots, but I feel like the majority of two-year sessions consists of lots of action shots. Callen did amazing for his session! He enjoyed sitting on my old chair and stool, showing me all of the beautiful rocks he found, and even brought along his favorite lovey (a sloth that my daughters picked out for him when he was born). The best part was watching this sweet family of three just play, have fun and love on each other. Can't wait until our next session this summer! ~xoxo
